Juniors

September: Look into signing up for the PSAT (speak with your Counselor for more information). Start your college search with WISCareers website. Click "Get Started" and enter the WUHS Registration Code for WISCareers: wuh-c366

October: Take the PSAT if needed. Get a list of colleges that will be visiting WUHS Student Services Office (click here for more information)

November: Start narrowing down colleges and universities you are interested in

December/January: Sign up for ACT prep course & March Practice ACT test through WUHS (see your counselor or Mrs. Brandstetter for details).

February: Register for the April ACT test

March: Take ACT practice test at WUHS. Sign up for Junior/Parent conference with your counselor.

April: Take the ACT. Check for a list of schools visiting WUHS in the spring

June: Take ACT again if you wish. Start visiting colleges

Summer: Visit colleges of your choice.

 

 
Seniors

September: Begin applying online to your colleges of choice. Finish Up campus tours and meet with college representatives in the Student Services. Ask for teacher recommendations if you need them. Meet with your counselor regarding future plans.

October: Applications should be completed. Begin your scholarship search

November: Work on scholarships

December: Attend WUHS Financial Aid night

January: Compile financial data and begin filling out the FAFSA

February: Continue with FAFSA and scholarship applications

April: Work on your local scholarship applications. Lists of local scholarships are available in Student Services.

June: Request final transcripts be sent to the college you will be attending. This will be accomplished the day of graduation.
