Spend
an evening with the Madrigal Singers, dining by candlelight,
toasting one another with golden wassail, and listening to the
sounds of the season as they were presented in 16th Century
England.
Announced
by brass fanfare, the evening's festivities will begin with
the traditional procession of the Royal Court followed by the
Wassail Bowl, and of course, the Boar's Head. Also included
in the evening's entertainment will be the court beggar, the
Royal Court Jesters and Queen Elizabeth (portrayed by Terry
Rabe), the royal recorder consort and the sounds of the Christmas
season as performed by the Madrigal Singers. The meal will consist
of the traditional 9-course Renaissance Feaste, including the
ever-famous flaming plum pudding.
